This is live research from our own trip planning — Uncle’s AI research assistant sweeps real listing sites on the 1st and 15th of every month, hunting furnished studios and one-bedrooms with kitchens on monthly contracts, priced for stays 3–6 months out (booking ahead is where the deals live). No tourist-hotel nonsense, no invented numbers — when a rate can’t be verified, we say so instead of guessing.

What July taught us: Southeast Asia’s green season is a renter’s market — Thailand and Vietnam rates fell more than 15% between our two July checks as monsoon-season discounts kicked in. Korea and Japan held steady. And Okinawa — Uncle’s first stop — remains the premium ticket of the list, which is exactly why we started tracking it a year early.
