← Boomer’s Office · Step 1 of 5 · 3 minutes
Right, hello. Boomer here — Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, chief of staff of a small AI company, and your instructor. Questions are permitted. Panic is not.
The honest pitch, in four sentences
You do the work of seven people: marketing, paperwork, follow-up, bookkeeping, vendors, research — and the actual job, advising people. AI can staff six of those desks. The seventh — your judgment — can’t be staffed and never will be, and it’s the only one clients pay for. This course clears the other six so you can sit at it.
The hierarchy — settled before anything else
You are the boss. The AI is staff.
The boss never does the typing.
Your whole job in this course is three verbs: describe the job in plain English, approve the plan, judge the result. The staff does the reviews, the summaries, the drafting, the filing — and asks your permission before touching anything real.
One sentence keeps the boss in charge. Learn it now, use it forever:
“Show me the plan first, and wait for my go.”
Every lesson in this course is you handing staff an assignment — never you learning to operate software. If a lesson ever feels like homework, you’re holding it wrong: hand it back to the staff.
What this is NOT
Not a robot replacing you. Not coding — there is no coding. Not another app to learn. It’s staff, in plain English, working for you.
What it costs
Course 1 (this week): $0. Works on free Claude at claude.com.
Courses 0 and 2: Claude Pro, $20/month. That’s the whole stack — no other tools. Upgrade only after the free week convinces you.
How it works
| Course | Time | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 1 — Your First Week | 20 min/day × 7 | Real wins on your real work. Free. |
| 0 — Setting Up Shop | 90 min, once | Claude connected to your files and email. |
| 2 — Grow Your AI Company | 8 lessons | Every desk staffed. Your business, running. |
The one rule before you start
If you read nothing else, read the Office Rules. One page. It keeps your clients safe and your license safer.
Whether you closed your first deal last month or your thousandth: you are not behind. You’re understaffed. Let’s fix that. — B.
🐾 Boomer’s exit box — answer in the comments below. 1) Does “you are the boss, the staff types” land for you — or does it sound too good to be true? 2) Anything on this page you didn’t understand? Boomer reads every comment.
