The idea, in four sentences
You know Spam musubi. Now picture it the size of a piece of sushi: two bites, about a dollar.
The customer picks the rice, the topping and the wrapper. Then picks the shape: topping on top like sushi, or pressed between two rice patties like a sandwich.
Everything is cooked. No raw fish.
It sells by the box, so one order is six different flavors instead of one big rice ball.
Why we brought it to you
We can do the arithmetic. We cannot do the part that matters: knowing what people will line up for, how a kitchen moves at noon, and how to make a counter feel like somewhere you want to be. You have spent years in food and entertainment. That is the missing half.
What we are asking
Not money. Not a lease. Not a promise.
One Saturday. Make a hundred pieces, time yourself, feed ten people. Then tell us what you think — bluntly.
If the Saturday goes badly, you are out a bag of groceries and you ate well. If it goes well, the rest of these pages show what could come next. And it would be yours to run.
